Brake Fluid Change Covers ABS System Too?

Im assuming the ABS system draws its fluid from the same reservoir as the brakes. Does anyone know if a routine fluid change gets the ABS lines as well? Or if its an independent process, do you have that proceedure?

How does a brake flush get the fluid out of the ABS pump/valves? I thought you needed an OBD2 scanner to cycle the pump to do this?

Jack the rear axle up, bleed the brakes while the 4runner is running and it is in drive. The Abs will pump pushing all of it fluid out.

Now, this reminds me. The newer 4runners with atrac and VSS have a separate ABS fluid reservoir. Same procedure as above.
