Brake pad/rotors of choice?

I used to say Toyota OEM all the way until I put Akebono pads on my wife's Lexus. Price is right and nothing but excellent reviews on them.

I put Akebono pads on our Matrix. Minimal dust and the wear is comparable to OEM Toyota ones. Thumbs up for Akebono from me.

Looks like I'll be sticking with the Oem brake calipers over the TBU

Have used Centrics (premium) Rotors and Akebono pads on other toys.. so my question is do I do that combo or OEM rotors with XX pads ?

I used to use EBC on lots of cars, BMW, Volvo, MB, even an old corolla, and they were great. I put ebc greenstuff on my 4runner and while the breaking was better then what pads were on there, they are dusty, and now less then 20k miles are about done.
Whatever the old pads were, they are going back on until I do my TBU hopefully by the end of april
when I do that , I will prob use Toyota pads
