I bought a 2nd gen 4runner 6 months ago. When I bought it a shop replaced the brake booster, master cylinder, and front brake pads. A couple weeks ago I replaced the rear brake shoes and had the drums turned. At this time I noticed the bolts had fallen out of my LSPV bracket and it was just hanging.
When my vehicle is off the brake pedal is firm and the brakes work great but when I start it there are no brakes whatsoever. The parking brake pulls out all the way and does nothing.
I adjusted the rear brakes as tight as i could to still get the drums on.
I've bled the brake lines and also bled the line on the LSPV.
Any ideas so i don't have to turn off my rig every time i want to stop.
