Alright.. Im really having a hard time with my darn car!!

Alright, heres the issue:

My front disk brakes are clamping up and not releasing.. Their causing the break pads to burn up..

They will unclamp under one condition, If, and only if i park the car, turn off the motor, and wait about 30 or 40 minutes.

The weird thing is that the rear brake shoes arnt burning, its only the fronts..

Ive replaced the front calipers, thinking maybe that was the problem. Didnt help.

I adjusted the rear proportional sensor as well.

The brakes are still acting up!!

IF YOU GUYS HAVE ANY IDEAS, SUGGESTIONS, COMMENTS, ANYTHING.. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME OUT GUYS!!!

Thanks in advance guys,

Taylor

It's a bit of a PITA to do....but I'd start with draining ALL fluid from the lines. Refill, bleed and see if the issue persists.

Can't say I've ever heard of this on the front...had issues with seizing in the drums on the back of my mini truck, and then only when wet.

IIRC the MC has a residual valve for the disk brakes, which drum brakes don't require, thus the difference between your front and rear symptoms. There maybe a problem with the residual valve and it's not allowing pressure to bleed off properly.
