Brake/Rotor Upgrade - HELP

Ok, I bought my baby a little over a month ago (2006 SR5, roughly 77K miles on it); it appears it needs new pads and rotors (squealing when braking, pulsating when braking, sometimes the steering wheel vibrates slightly when braking downhill).

I am torn because I have been reading that 4Runners go through brakes/rotors fast unless you do the Tundra switch. Question is, I don't think I could take on that task myself and don't know who to look for to assist me with the install.

Any ideas? I live in North Georgia.

Also, if the Tundra swith is not an option for me now, should I stick with OEM parts or use aftermarket and find someone, other than the stealership, to do the work?

Any and all help would be much appreciated!!! :jump:

With brake componenets I would go aftermarket and get ceramic pads. Less brake dust and overall better wear in my opinion. If you havene't change pads and rotors before it may seem like a big job but it isn't. I would personally start in the back and then do the front. you will find the first one may take up to an hour to do but then the next three will take aobut 15 min each. AFter you do it a couple times it becomes an hour job in and out.
