Brake squealing

2005 Sport Ed. Replaced front pads and rotors at the dealer when the originals wore out. Shortly after they started squealing when stopping. After a few months it apparently was not going away. Dealer replaced them under warranty with higher quality pads. Sd the original ones used had a thinner backing plate. Hmmm. Something to keep in mind when it is time for brakes.

My '06 had a terrible 'light-to-medium' pedal pressure squeal and a slight pulsation in the steering wheel while braking when I bought it. I checked the pad thickness on all four corners and everything looked good... after a few high-speed, hard stops (on a deserted road, of course), all is good! I'm still going to pick up a set of Akebono ceramics just because I loved them on my Gen3.
