Brake Stutter/slip at low speeds post Tundra upgrade

I recently upgraded to tundra calipers. I now have this issue were when at low speeds only, pulling into a parking spot with low peddle pressure, the brakes feel as if they slip and then grab. Once they grab they work well. I have also tested hard stopping from higher speeds and the brakes work well, significantly better than the stock ones. Bleed the system multiple times so I am confident it's not air in the lines and I also spent quite a while adjusting the rear drums.

I was thinking the problem could be with the brake booster because the brakes work well coming off the gas but poor at low engine speeds, but I could not find a vacuum leak so I am not sure what else to look for. Any idea's would appreciated.

Did you bed them yet? Show us pics of your rotors as they sit now.

Bedding procedure: (Gently warm up brakes on the drive over through normal driving)

1.) Find long, unoccupied stretch of open road.
2.) Accelerate up to 60 MPH, and then immediately brake HARD .. almost to the point of lockup
3.) While braking, don't let your speed drop below 10 mph. Also, for the rest of the procedure avoid coming to a complete stop until indicated in the below directions
4.) Immediately accelerate up to 60 MPH, and repeat braking HARD until 10 mph
5.) Repeat accelerating and braking 8 times.
6.) Drive slowly and continuously without touching the brakes or coming to a complete stop for 10 minutes. This will allow the newly formed glaze to distribute itself evenly upon the surface of the rotor.
7.) Come to a slow, gradual stop and let truck sit unmolested for 30 mins.
8.) All done! When done correctly, your rotors should look like this:

Also, be sure to clean the new rotors with brake cleaner to remove the packaging grease used to inhibit rust. If you didn't do this at installation, you might still be able to salvage the rotors and pads, or the pads could've absorbed the grease already. Report back post bed-in and we can go from there.

please let me know if you were able to fix the stutter. I did the upgrade, bled the brakes, and did the bed in process till I got the tempered brake rotors and still at low speeds it stutters for about 2 seconds and is completely fine. It only happens at 10 mph and lower.

When you say slipping do you mean the pedal has a lot of travel? Where in the pedal travel does it slip? Do you have to push the pedal lower to get it to stop slipping?

couple of things....one...what year are you working with...like b4 the electric master cylinder on 2001 and 2002
2nd....I have done 2 TBU upgrades and with me...i take it to some gravel road or such and lock the brakes up ( after bedding) and get the abs to kick on several times....then go bleed the brakes again often more than one time again.
Maybe I have been lucky and dont have a soft pedal or issues. However I also use yota rotors and brake pads and napa rebuilt calipers and replace hoses with stainless at the time.

If you did the bedding procedure and, while the brakes were still very hot, went and sat at a stoplight for an extended time you've probably got a pad imprint on your rotor that will cause vibration as now the rotor surface is uneven. Try bedding the brakes again if that was the case and then go directly onto the highway or a nice long country road and let those rotors cool off before you come to a stop.
