brake upgrade

I have decided to up grade my brakes and I need some help deciding what size to buy. After reading quite a few reviews I have decided to buy the EBC drilled/ slotted sport rotors but I have know clue what size will work, they come in 11.7in or 12.6in sizes.

Do a Tundra brake swap instead. Cross-drilled/slotted are crap.

yes the Tundra brake conversion is great. i love how it brake after the conversion.

yeah thats what i had heard and from a few of my friends and plus cross drilled/slotted sounds like something you would put in civic or something(no offence to those tuner guys out there in T4R land).

where would i pick up the parts for the tundra brake swap?
and how much?

there are two (2) different calipers too. 199mm are the older model before TSB which fit with less mod & 231mm which are on the newer model Tundra/Sequoia which you will do a little bit minor more mod to make it fit. i am using the 231mm calipers with 18" wheels. i did hear that 16" will work with the 199mm calipers. i also bought slotted/cross drill rotor just for looks.

i bought the caliper for $120 off ebay & rotors w/ pads for $125.

A total of $245 & my time to get it done. My Gf like the 4runner much more now and has taken over the drive seat.

i bought mine off this ebay seller (lkqonline).

sorry i just have a few more questions.
first can i leave the factory dust sheilds with the 199mm calipers?
second were the 199mm calipers on the 2000-2005 tundras?
