Brakes....I know I know, this thread again

So I know this has been covered, however, I'm tired of reading and my brain hurts.....so with that in mind....
I have a 05' Limited 4Runner...I believe it has the larger calipers that did NOT have the issues with the piston/caliper sticking. My pads are just about shot...so I need rotors and pads on all 4.
I don't want drilled/slotted rotors, however I want something that will stop the 4runner with extra weight(bumper/suspension to come shortly).
I have seen Akebono pads/Centric rotors - no part numbers - I'd buy off rockauto
Powerstop - however those are drilled/slotted
Hawk pads/insert rotor here. - part numbers?

Soooooo part numbers and reasons please :)

i use hawk lts pads
front HB490Y.665
rear HB477Y.610
and centric/stoptech slotted rotors
front left 126.44127SL
front right 126.44127SR
rear left 126.44128SL
rear right 126.44128SR
i do drive a sport model so i have the larger brakes.
went thru alot of pad a rotor setup.
started with ebc green stuff pads with stock rotors, 6000s series, it stop the truck, but left my rims really dusty. since im hard on the brakes, i got about 30-60k, i had big rims at that time.
next setup was ebc yellow stuff and ebay's brakemotive drilled and slotted rotors, it really stopped the truck better, but also made my rims more dirtier, that setup was so heavy duty, i just couldnt stand dirty rims every 5 days, u see a layer on the lip of my rim. i did get some uneven pad wear, i think it came from not having my fluid changed.
my last and final setup is the hawk lts and stoptech combo, its a better setup to me, less pad dust and really stopped the truck. quality of the rotors is much better.
you can find the setup on sale at tirerack or summit racing or amazon, shop around. and also flush out the old brake fluid. i also did the ss lines after couple of thousands miles with the ebc yellow setup.

I believe the Limited has the larger brakes as well. Thank you for the info. I'll look into it, I'd prefer to run hawk pads because I have never heard anything bad about them.

Your going to have to check the caliper casting marks to be sure of that only the the sports came standard with the big brakes, sr5 came with small only and the limited came with both
 
yeah, i think the bigger brakes were only an option for the limited. standard equipment for the sport.

I've been keeping up with the sticking / frozen caliper issue and it doesn't seem to be ONLY with the smaller brakes. I have a 2005 Limited and will be doing the upgrade this weekend. I WANT to say that most Limiteds came with the larger brakes. Whatever the case, I have a front and rear stuck caliper.

amen, I had the larger brakes on my limited and they had the issue. I went with Centric/Akebono mix but I did the 5th gen upgrade and couldn't be happier.
 
Thanks everyone. It's getting dropped off at Toyota tomorrow to have dash replaced under the recall. I will look to see if it's showing signs of sticking/lots of rust
