Brakes squeaking after 2 weeks!!!???

So me and my friend replaced my front brakes about 2 weeks ago and they're squeaking!! WTF!!?? Does anyone know why this could be happening? Ive heard if you slam on the brakes after replacing them it gets a "glaze" off of them that comes with the new brakes? But this is from my friend who is a Je*p dealer and says its a problem with the Je*p's.

Any advice?

There's a lubricant product than can help. May not hurt to jack it up and take a look just to be sure everything stayed put together properly.

I'm presuming you had the rotors turned or replaced them?

what brand of pads did you use? usually there is a specific bed in time for the brake pad.

I actually dont know the specific brand. I got them from Auto Value and they were the most expensive ones. Sorry for my lack of info

Checked the little brass slides the pads sit on. I've seen those bend when doing brakes and cause a squeak. I've seen them in just such a place that they'll only do it when applying the brakes.
