Hey guys, so I've had it with this ongoing brake squeak. It only happens with light braking. It's very annoying especially at parking garages. I have a 97 toyota 4runner limited. I replaced the rear drums and shoes with OEM parts, front OEM brake pads (Akebono pads), OEM discs, pins, shims, and the rattle clip. I lubed the pins, back of the pads, and all metal to metal contact with CRC synthetic brake lube. Squeak always goes away when I take the brake system apart. Then after about 15 miles of driving and braking, the squeak comes back. I've searched everywhere and still can't find a solution. I even tried burnishing the brakes by driving 50mph, then brake hard till before a full stop, but not fully stopping and then repeating. Nothing... Any advice?? Please!!
