I'd suggest getting the whole hardware kit with all the springs etc. rockauto.com or advanceauto.com has them for like $15.
You may want to get a new brake self adjuster if it's seized.
Take a look at the brake shoes when you buy them. Some shoes have more surface area than others. I bought a set once and the friction bad was about 1" shorter on each shoe than the ones that I was taking out. Raybestos is the one brand that seems to make good brakes.
I usually take one side apart at a time. That way you can always check to make sure you put the brakes back together right.
