Break issues Help Plz.

So i am having some break problems with my 1995 limited. 4x4 3.0L (161108 miles) Had a blown head gasket; Now fixed, however, the breaks are very stiff to push in and the Rear Locker light is on even though i don't have (know) if the truck is equipted with rear lockers.
Already replaced the raditor and hoses along with the thermostat, also blead the break but the peddal is stiff and truck very had 2 come 2 a stop with pedal too the floor. Hope someone out there can assist me. thank you all.

Check the brake booster behind the brake master cylinder to see if you have good vacuum. Look for leaks as well....
Your 95 Runner more than likely has antilock rear brakes. Once you have the power assist working properly the rear brakes should stop locking up. If they do lock up again then, you may have to adjust the rear shoes/brakes.

You can also try disconnecting the vacuum line to the booster to see if it changes how the brakes feel. If you have little or no change in brake feel then, the booster is your issue.

If the booster is bad, it would require more pressure on the pedal to stop, but it shouldn't affect braking.
When you bled the brakes did you do it in the correct order?

RR
RF
LF
LSPV

thanks, thank i try all of these. just hoe it ain't the booster lol, already looked at one. Price $289 right? well i report back on solution
