Did y'all get down into the Spider Web or Minos any? It has been a few years since I was at Bridgeport much. I have been wanting to get back out there with my latest 4R but am not sure about trying to wheel AND respect the vehicle I am in.
Bridgeport is pretty sweet. You can get into about as much trouble as you want. If you avoid the hard stuff the only other thing you have to look out for is the brush. Sometimes the trails get tight and the sticks and branches drag on the body a bit.

Yeah, I am familiar with the park. I went there a lot with a dedicated trail rig a few years ago. I was curious as to what kind of condition the park was in lately if they were maintaining the trails and such. I still need to get up there soon to test out the new 4R.
how were the trails yesterday?
Just curious how the trails were yesterday. Did you guys take on the trails? I was curious if they might have decided to close the park. With the relentless rain I thought it might be a big mud pit and/or having a lot of cars on it might cause too much damage to the trails.

Whoops. I must of wishfully read 22 rather than 02. Has anybody been out there since the last set of rains? If so, how are the trails looking?

I was back out there 2 weeks later, but not since we started getting all this rain.
I'm not a fan of mud.
I'm more into just exploring trails and climbing stuff.
I won't be heading back out there until after we haven't gotten any rain for 2 or 3 weeks.
They usually keep all the trails maintained which is why I'm out there pretty often.
There are plenty of easy to challenging trails without worrying about damage, other than some pin striping, I've never broken anything.
I usually spend 5 or 6 hours doing 2 and 3 diamond trails, nothing scary, because my FJ is my daily driver, but it's still a lot of fun.
I'm not a fan of mud.

Hey thanks for sharing that! I might go if there's atleast 2 others with winches.
Don't know if we have two winches. Most of the stuff there isn't too bad. We got tow ropes if anyone does get stuck though.

No - I have been to both and HF is way larger. The great part about Bridgeport is that it is affordable to get into ($25) and all the trails are almost right on top of each other so you do not spend a lot of time coming off of one trail until you are on the next trail. I spent a summer going up there a lot and would be worn out by noon wheeling with some buddies because all the trails would just keep you driving trail after trail. It is a great bang for the buck - but does not have the size, views, or camping like Hidden Falls has.

Looking at going to Bridgeport towards the end of Feb/ early March if anyone is interested. Mostly DD rigs so probably none of the too crazy Minos trails.
