Feel free to pick all you want; just a warning - there is some weird crap in there. I am really enjoying my locker. My wife mentioned how much better the 4R handled the trails with a locker than without. She has been wheeling with me in my Tacoma, '87 4Runner throughout the whole build, and now this one so she has some trail time.
 
There was a decent bit of water in the sand pits last weekend. Wunderground is reporting 2.5" of rain at Bridgeport for today. That is a lot for those pits.
 
We're still going, I just told my wife that I'm not afraid of a little mud, but I'm not going to get crazy with it. We're about 150 miles away so if we go out there we're gonna do some riding
 
I just looked up where Kemp is at. Why not go to Gilmer? It is a lot closer and bigger. I want to get back over there sooner than later again.

is it not a straight forward install? i was under the impression it all swaps out fairly easy besides the wiring part.

For the most part yes; it is straight forward. The wiring is where I went with a LowRangeOff-Road setup. I got lucky enough to locate an entire e locker w/ axle plus the matching gears front axle. That made my swap nothing more than swapping out the axles. That is where I found a few small differences between the early and late 3rd gen 4Runner axles. The driver side brake line does not have a bolt mounting hole on the axle. The rest of it does match up for the most part.
 
Next trip to Bridgeport, Tx

From Fort Worth... Next group going to Bridgeport Off Road Park, post the date here or send me a message. I'm new to off-roading and I took my new 4runner there last week (10/22), by myself - so I didn't feel comfortable doing several trails that I know the truck can handle. I think this would be more fun if I was in a group that has done these trails before and know what to do and not to do.
 
They allow camping on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
November 12th would be great for people that want to
wheel all day Saturday
camp Saturday night then
wheel all day Sunday.
 
Was gonna head to Hidden Falls this weekend but think I should hit up Bridgeport first before driving 3 hours for trails. Anyone gonna be at Bridgeport Saturday morning?
