Bridgestone A/T Revo2 -or- Cooper Discoverer ATR???

Need new tires. Bridgestone A/T Revo2 -or- Cooper Discoverer ATR???

TireRama has a "Buy 3 get the 4th A/T Revo free" which puts the cost @ about $660 for 4.

BUT...

I spoke to one of their guys who said that he has the choice of any tire they sell, he's run the Revos once, but he would buy the Discoverer. He said he wasn't trying to switch me, and that the Revo sale is a good one, and with both tires priced the same now, and the fact that i like the Revos...stick with them. And then he said, "The Discoverers are a great tire... I sell them over the Revo unless Revos are on sale."

That said, he's got me thinking that I should consider the Discoverer.

Opinions?

I've had both tires you mentioned. And I actually just bought another set of tires 2 weeks ago. I chose the Discoverer ATRs twice now, so that should tell you which tire I like better.

BTW, the ATRs are really good in snow. I'm not sure if you do a lot of snow driving, but if so definitely consider the ATR.

I have only had the Coopers but ran them for about 200K (3 sets+) on my 3G4R, and I would highly recommend them. Great in the snow and excellent durability.
