Sorry if this is somewhat of a repeat thread. I'm trying to decide between these two tires for my '99 4Runner (265/70R16):
Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo vs Michelin LTX MS
Revo's seem to be very popular and for the most part, people are pleased with them. I just spoke to a local dealer that I usually do business with and they recommended the LTX over the Revo. Price was about the same, but they liked the LTX better.
My 4Runner is 100% city/highway driven. No off road use. I currently have BFG Road Terrain tires that are about 40k miles old and about 4 years old. There is still tread, but they are just too slippery.
My #1 area I hope to get improvement on is wet traction. #2 is ride quality.
From what I can read on this forum, the Revo seems to be a winner, but I don't see as much on the LTX. Should I just go w/ the Revo and be happy?
All advice welcome.
