Brighter gear indicator lights

Here is a quick tip/mod I just thought of when thinking of another mod and had all the pieces removed. All the details have not been finalized but this should give you a good idea on what to do. Here are some pics that will give you a good idea of the process

You can keep or remove the plastic depending the type of lights you use.

Idea of where to place lights. In my case I will be using strip lights (without the plastic covering)

Where to get power from. Only 2 wires. Green was power and white was ground. The way I will wire this is the factory bulb will no longer be in use.

Here is the end result with a before and after. A lot more crisp and bright. I did this during the day so the difference would be a lot more noticeable at night.

Enjoy!

Looks nice. I just look at the gear indicator on the dash.
For me, the less unnecessary ambient light inside the cabin at night the better.

That appears to be well executed, nicely done!

Having said that, it's the opposite of my own preference as I tend to prefer low ambient lighting while driving at night, but that might be my age talking. haha
