The ones I purchased 4 years ago are no longer available.

Curious who can point me to some that are still available. Just going to replace them all - would like them to be the brightest possible :israel:

Appreciate any help

Good lord, $114!! Also the red light options is out of stock. Looks nice though. You have them installed? Feedback?

Yes, I have them installed.

Here is how good they are. When they come back in stock in early Feb, I'm buying another set. I plan to drive this 4Runner for about 10 more years, so I want to make sure if one of them fails I can replace it.

The white is super bright, the red is fantastic for camping/overlanding, and the construction is great.

And why do you think $100 is a lot? You spent probably $30,000-$50,000 on the 4Runner. $100 is a rounding error on that, and less than 2 tanks of gas.

They are a great deal.

JDM ASTAR for cheaper bulbs
LASFIT for more expensive bulbs

Both the brightest value and premium bulbs, respectively.

Thanks for sharing. We camp a lot so I can see the benefit of the red lights. On the product page it says this about the switching (red light) option:

Drilling of LENs required to fit switch if purchasing switchable option

Do you need to do any drilling or are these pretty much plug and play? This isn't super clear but seems to suggest you would need to make some alterations to use the switchable version.

They are very plug and play. Basically, you take out the bulb and insert these instead. The only non-reversable step is you need to drill a small hole in the lens for the switch that toggles between red and white.

But that lens can be replaced for a few bucks, so I didn't worry about it. Plus, like I said, these things are so great they are never coming out.

Thanks for the reply. That seems pretty easy.

it's a damn shame meso customs can't seem to keep anything in stock. i've been wanting their dome light, but never in stock. the map/vanity lights are okay with most aftermarket leds, but the stock dome light housing just sucks no matter what bulb goes in there. im surprised someone like diode dynamics hasn't made a custom board for our gen. it would sell pretty well imo.
