broken bumpstop problem

so im planning on installing bj spascers and lc coils, and today i realized the the bumpstop in the back right spring is just laying there sideways broken off from the top. can i install my lift anyway any not fix it yet, since i dont normally go off road until mid summer? thanks!

I don't see why not, but i would not waste any time and fix it ASAP.

Newbie here and just wondering whats so special about bump stops and why do we need them...?

to keep your sus from over extending or compressing too much. put a jack under there and go up and dwon and watch you will see the piont..hopefully lol
