Brown Mountain OHV Trail , Thoughts ?

Hello all , I'm new to the whole off-roading scene and was thinking of taking a trip down to the Brown Mountain trail in North Carolina . There is hardly anywhere I can go close to where I live (Virginia Beach) and thought it would be a nice trip for the family and I . So my main question; How difficult is this trail , bearing in mind I am a complete novice . I have a totally stock but well maintained 95 4Runner . Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated , Thanks !

I live right down the road from Brown Mountain. My wife and I took an afternoon with it not too long ago in my then stock 2016 Trail - for the most part it is not challenging at all. There are a few sections that get a little technical, but I only put lockers on twice, and didn't have too many puckering moments in between.

That being said, the trail is pretty tight in a lot of areas and coming out the other side with a few scratches is pretty much a guarantee unless you are going to prune some trees before moving through.
