Brush Guard Question

Found a pretty good deal on a brush guard on Craigslist...the seller has a brush guard on his 2002 4Runner and is advertising that it will fit all models from 1996-2002. I have a 98 and was under the impression that due to the difference in front bumpers that this application will not work. Any thoughts?

It should work, your bumper isn't as big as a fat lip, so there may be a gap, but thats probably all, i cant see the mounts being that different.

Yeah Johns right, there will be a gap due to the difference in bumpers. I think the 96-98s look better with a brush guard because they don't stick out as far. The brush guard you're looking at will look weird on your runner

i never liked the brush guards, there just so ugly and bulky, now now i know this is only my opinion i just felt like throwing it out there, get a custom one
