Brushguard on or off? (Pic)

I love the concept arb has to make sure nothing screws with your vehicle when it's on but the pictures above prove that it makes a slick newer 4runner look like an old beatup truck in the front. I guess if youre going for that look then cool but if not keep the waag/hunter, etc brush guard so it looks nice and still keeps it protected a little.

I for one like the look of my 3rd gen runner and think the arb will make it look like an old farm toy. So will go the waag guard route here as soon as i fix my girls jeep. ;-)

farm truck or something you can actually use off road as opposed to a poser ass mall cruiser, you be the judge, i got the truck from my 50 year old mom and she had the brush guard on there becuase she liked the look so if you want to look like a 50 year old woman go ahead and bash the true bull bars. :toilet:

seriously though to each his own but if you are on the fire roads and trails a fair bit expect to get some crap for rocking the brushguard if you want to look slick while cruising the mall picking up chicks in the food court go with the brush guard, they both have their merits for different type of people, i spend every free day i have in the mountains climbing skiing and exploring the pnw so this is what works for me.

Yep farm toy. Farmers need the protection because they can't drive lol i don't off road but maybe 4 times a year so arbs not needed for my everyday use.

And my fiance wouldn't enjoy me cruisin for girls, so no mall creeping for Me. Just want an all around nice looking ride not too far over the top and without losing the look of a Runner.

If I want to go alll out off road I'll bust out the old beat up bronco and save the lite trail/city rides for the Runner. ;-)
