will a brushguard for an 02 4runner work on my 98 or is the difference in the bumpers going to be an issue? thanks

the 99-02 one curves around the fat lip bumper, it's form fitting

I don't think it works my Waag one wouldn't fit on a 98

I believe this is correct, it will fit as far as the attaching to the frame, but the shape of it is designed to fit around the fat lip bumper. I will throw in my fat lip bumper if you want it - LOL.
