Bubbles in oil

I didnt think that picture posted. I recently did the ISR mod, and wanted to make sure I re routed the hoses correctly. The instructions left me somewhat unsure. How does that look?

I think it's probably alright. On my friends Ferrari 360 the oil has lots of bubbles on it when you check it. But then again on that car you have to check it while it's running due to the dry sump lubrication system. Did you check yours while it's running?

How is the oil level. I once had a dealership change the oil in a VW Jetta I had and they put about 1 quart to much in. I was having warranty issues and issues with the dealership. I called the private shop that I used for all non-warranty work and asked him what if any problems the oil being over filled that much could cause and he said the crank shaft will end up making the oil all bubbly and it would not get sucked into the oil pump. Just a thought

The oil level is good. Right in the center. I checked it right after turning the engine off. So i guess its normal. Thanks
Brian2sun, ya the hose off the t isnt pushed all the way back cause it wasnt long enough and i didnt wanna buy any more hose haha. The t is butted up against the valve coming out of the intake plenum. But it is tightly sealed on every connection. I'll probably end up getting some hose to make it look nicer anyways. But my concern is if I placed the hoses correctly.

For all who have done the ISR mod . . . did you notice any difference is gas milage? I never really logged what I was getting before the mod. But right now im on a pace to get well under 15 m/g on the current tank. Thats pretty bad. Im thinking Im gonna record the milage for a few more tanks with the mod, and then switch back to the original setup to see how gas milage is affected.

I don't see how it can help and you can bet if Toyota could have got a fraction of an mpg out of it they would have done the ISR mod themselves. Besides Toyota could have saved money by leaving that silencer out to begin with. And don't believe somebody's butt dino either. I think this ISR mod is a waste of time and money.

I track EVERY tank of gas with an Excel spreadsheet (65,000 miles worth now). The ONLY thing I've done to my truck which has had a significant effect on gas milage over the long term is TIRES. Period.
A long, long time ago (prolly in a land faraway too, lol) someone actually did some dyno testing of the ISR and Deckplate mod. I can't recall if the ISR mod alone made much difference, but I recall the dyno did show a GAIN of few HP/ft-lb overall with the combination. Not much tho.

Ya honestly I cant feel anything. If it did increase hp its by such a small amount that its negligible. And if it decreases gas milage than its definately not worth it. For me anyways. Since its my daily driver.
