bucking in 3 rd gear (automatic)

What do you mean by bucking? Limited, Trail or SR5? When did it start? How many miles? Under what conditions? Warm or cold? etc. We are happy to help but more info is required.

2014, SR5,engine warm, flat terrain, road,acceleration and deceleratation, 3rd gear only, feels like a hesitation, not smooth , towing or not. Hope this helps? Thanks, R :car::rofl:

Is it around 33-35mph? I have this problem driving through town when the speed limits are changing between 30 and 35. The truck constantly wants to switch on and off overdrive so I slap the stick into 4s so I can cruise without the trans jumping back and fourth.

Exactly what [MENTION=109391]st8rocks[/MENTION] said ... the 5Gs like to hunt between 4 and 5 between 35-40 mph. It feels like it's surging.

Try driving around town in S4 as suggested. I'm in the habit now.
