Budbuilt mounting?

Does the Budbuilt IFS skid mount using the stock mounting locations? Tried to search first and couldn't find the info. Thanks.

Yes, it uses the stock mounting points, plus it comes with a bracket that attaches the skid plate to your steering assembly. I recommend attaching that first, then attaching the skid plate to the bracket from Budbuilt. The biggest challenge is how heavy that thing is and holding it in place while trying to line up the new mounting hardware.

X2...bring a buddy along to help hold it in place. Also, in my case the steering rack nut was VERY hard to get off even with air tools. Make arrangements for either a breaker bar or a really strong buddy.

Yeah the steering rack nuts/bolts were hard to get off, I sat there with the gun just going for probably a good 45 seconds moving the gun back and forth then they finally came off.

Anyone have a picture of said mounting bracket? Thinking about having my friend built similar to the budbuilt but wanted to see how it mounts.

Oh yeah, I forgot about how hard that steering rack nut was to get off - I thought it was just mine. I had to use a cheater bar and finally got it loose after busting a few knuckles and throwing wrenches everywhere.
