Bug deflector installation. Need help.

I got bug deflector (Canadian, if it makes difference) from dealler, but there is no installation manual in package. I have 2007 Limited. Does anybody have manual and could post it for me.
In general I know that I need to remove grill etc. But I am missing some details. Thanks for all who will help.

I purchased mine from Bill's Toyota in Fort Erie, this was the closest dealer to me. You can probably find a dealer closer to Lewiston. According to Bill's Toyota, the part # for my '08 Limited is C0500-35061. The price was $125.43 canadian, inc. tax. I will be installing mine tomorrow.

Unfortunately, that means it's $125.42 American. Remember when the Canadian dollar was only worth $0.82 American? Missin those days... a lap dance at the Sundowner was only $16! I mean, so I've heard, never really done that.

This is what I am looking for! Please, post the first page as well, and if it is Toyota manual I will take it to dealler and through right into the face of service manager and parts manager I was talking to!!!!

If by teeth you mean where the hood deflector covers the portion of the hood on either side of the grill, then yes. Take a look at the pic I posted.

BE WARNED!!!!!!! i had my OEM bug deflector installed by the dealer, and the outer-most metal brackets that attach the plstic deflector to the hood under-side RUBBED into the edge of the hood,...through the paint, through the primer, deep into the steel hood!!! I contacted the dealer, toyota corporate, never got so much as a phone call! I heard the staff got chewed out, but that was never my intention. I figired there should have been some barrier (silicone discs?) but there are none as far as i know. Be careful w your decision on installing these things!!!

T4RsRGR8, did you put both long strips of gasket beside each other or you've used only one strip. It looks like one strip is enough to go from one side of the hood to another. I am thinking to put second one along the fist.

I used both gasket strips beside each other only about 4.5 mm apart.

Deflector Deal

Realizing this thread is 10 years old, I'd like to thank Jay for posting the installation instructions for the OEM bug deflector for my '08. Just printed 'em out.

I received my OEM deflector today by UPS from a dealership down in SoCal, but it didn't come with instructions.
