I have the AVS one and I really like it since whiel there's plenty of room to clean behind it it still hugs the contours of the hood nicely and no need for bumpstops but they are supplied if you feel the need to use them.

I also have an AVS but don't have it mounted as of yet. I got it second-hand with no mounting hardware and am still trying to figure out exactly what I'm going to do about that. But I agree with everything Ron says.

Just go see what size screw fits the stock mounting locations and use a set of washers and avoid overtightening the screws as to not crack the plastic.

It originally comes with plastic hardware which I was a bit skeptical about but haven't had to even re-tighten them since I installed it almost 4 years ago which still surprises me.

i have no idea what my brand is, i just got it from the local pro liner store and the guy put it on for me. the 2 screws in the middle have already came off of the washer. the two end screws though are good enough to hold the thing on though.

here is a picture of what mine looks like.

thanks everyone!

Man I really like these forums. You can't get better info really.

Well I would like that AVS but it seems that no one has a AVS for a 2002 4Runner... I am not sure why. The thing I really like about that AVS is what you said it allows you to get under it to clean it and the hood..

Keep the Pics and Info coming.
