Bug Guard

Hey fellas where can I purchase a bug guard for a '97 4R?

I tried pep boys but they are all out, tried ebay and they don't have any either.

I know, I know - Burtman has them but I don't feel like paying $100.

The brand I am looking for is AVS - link please?

What other brands are you using besides AVS? :artist:

If your getting it for function, dont, they dont work.

My guess is they would help with Florida Love Bugs. I've always called them stone guards since they protect the leading edge of hood from chips and do deflect stones over the windshield.

I have the AVS and it's simply the best choice for a 3rd gen IMO since it follows the hood lines very well and you can easily clean behind it and you don't need the rubber bumpstops if you choose not to use them.

I know since my paint is unblemished and my mom has the same one on her's and she isn't using the bumpstops and you actually have to force it back pretty good to force it to touch the hood but the AVS does come with bumpstops for peace of mind.

Mine's been on there for 4 years and it's seen plenty of 80mph speeds. ;):

lund avenger its not to big but its enough to make the front end look a little better i like it alot
