Bug shield recommendation

AVS aero model. Mounts w 3m tape. My preference
That looks very close to the hood. How does it perform?

Honestly, I didnt know what to choose from. I just went to the 4wheel expo and they had weathertech there offering discounts. So to me, the $$$ seamed reasonable.
Very cool. How high does it stick off of the hood?
That logo is etched in too. Googone isnt doing anything to get it off. Will try later minus scraping. It sits an inch off the hood.
Looks great. I don't mind the logo to be honest. Do you find it helps with bugs and rocks or do you just like the sporty look of it? Some have told me it looks ugly, others are opposed to it because it doesn't work. I'm sort of on the edge if getting it or not.

Well its been on for less than 24 hours but just took it 80 miles. I can say there are far less bugs on my windshield but of course not 100% since those big ones arent preventable. I like the look especially the slight hang over the fender. Just your opinion from this point.
Oh ok. I really appreciate the info. I'm just doing a poll since I'm new to the forum here. Are you thinking of changing over to the TRD Pro grill? The more and more I look at it, it's uglier to me.
Come on, its a $50 item. Do we have to spend 20 threads and 50 posts just on this one to "talk" about it? Even if you bought both or 3 (OEM and weathertech and/or AVS) and try them all out, its not going to break the bank.
Members are just sharing their thoughts/opinions and some of their pictures. Personally I think it's very nice of everyone to share such great info vs some good old fashioned negativity.

Plus the item is so low cost, that even if it doesn't work at all, you aren't out too much.

Totally agree, I'll look for your group buy on it if it ever happens. I'm im.
Quite comical how plastic is so expensive, all of a sudden. $200 same here sign me up. When the day comes.
I give credit to those who want it that badly and will spend that much, I just don't. $500-$700 gets me a ton of other mods instead.
