Does anyone know where I can get the "low profile" bug deflector that I've seen on so many 4Runners. All I can find at the dealers and the aftermarket are the larger ones. The kind I'm referring to are form fitting and almost look flat. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No problem.

If you are ordering for an '06-'07, may I suggest you make it perfectly clear to them that even if the label says this:

That is an '03-'05 deflector mislabeled as an '06-'07. Notice the "blunting" of the tips of the deflector that run down each side of the grill. And for the record, the grill is wider on the late 4th gen's. It does not fit.

grrrr....

Not technically the parts store's fault, but very annoying nonetheless. Why? Because this is not a new or unknown problem. As such, IMNSHO, they should have implemented a policy to visually verify each deflector going out of their store is what it should be.

I've always believed in bug shields but hate what they look like. I now have that clear film protecting my whole front end, a-pillars, under door handles, roof in front of sunroof and along the back where the wife drags her hand to close the rear hatch. Lifetime warranty to chipping, cracking, peeling, dicoloring, etc! I have the Mil. Silver and everyone knows that the primer coat is BLACK underneath so if you get a rock chip it shows black. Well with only 50 miles on my 4runner I had the clear shield put on. I have 5000 miles now and absolutely love it. A must if you travel the highway all the time!!!
