Am I the only person that can't see the pictures of the S8 install?

They were on Photobucket, and caught up in that whole SNAFU. I haven't had the time to retroactively pull, upload and re-link all of my articles. But you can definitely try the patch that [MENTION=114745]YetiX[/MENTION] mentioned below...

You're not the only one. Photobucket pulled it's free image hosting and as a result all of the old links went dead. Max might have the old photos saved somewhere. Knowing him, he is probably on an adventure right now or headed out for the weekend!

What browser do you use? If you use Chrome, there is an Extension called the Photobucket Hotlink Fix that allows you to see the pictures. I can see them fine.

Thanks for posting this "fix". Stupid Photobucket gremlins keep haunting me. Reminds me of the campaign that was funded to keep [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION] 's PB account live for his extensive thread. That was one of the purest forum moments I have seen...

I do not have a write-up for that. I never did an always on mod with the stock switch. I just upgraded to a Switch Pro and have full flexibility now.

Everyone likes a good weekend photo dump

Spent the weekend exploring around the Sierra Buttes and mountain biking the legendary trails leading into Downieville with [MENTION=1681]Xtreme[/MENTION]Luck and some other local 4Runner/MTBers. Rained the first night, wind blew us off the mountain the second night, but the trails were PERFECT for both the biking and the 4Running. No dust in the Sierras is mint any way you look at it. Here's a few from the weekend. Enjoy.

I would say that the narrower size and the low everyday pressure of 34psi would have exacerbated the "Cooper right pull". 34 is low for an load range E tire, I will usually run 38-40 with my load range E 275/70 S/T's.

And this is where the great debated on E versus C rated tires comes in. The LR E tire will have better resistance to cuts and punctures over the LR C due to the thicker carcass. But ride quality will be somewhat sacrificed because the tire won't be as supple, as you had experienced. If Cooper offered the S/T Maxx in more LR C variants I would likely consider them over a LR E knowing that I might sacrifice SOME off-road reliability for a smoother ride. For now, I will make that sacrifice and live with the harsher ride. Again, I have just gotten used to it. But who knows what the newer size will feel like. That's why I always have my tires installed at a shop with a return, or "test drive" policy.

Nice! That'll be a good option for those that want an AT in LRC. You can also get the well reviewed Cooper Discoverer AT3 in the same size/rating. They're definitely worth looking at.

Dude! Glad that you're enjoying the content. Just remember that there's no such thing as an unworthy road trip, and with your 4R you too can see a lot that this country has to offer. Especially the Western bit :eyebrows: ... but I'm not biased...

It's a v1 Bronson. It's such an awesome bike, does well on the uphill, slays the downhill and has never left me stranded or feeling unfulfilled in almost 750 miles on it. Truly a quiver-killer in the bike world. The newer v3's are even better and are 27.5+ compatible.

That is [MENTION=134661]Xtremluck[/MENTION] and his custom CBI swing out bumper. He worked with CBI to build a hitch receiver into the passenger side swing out. So it's just the standard 1Up rack with an extender to get it past the spare tire. It works really well and is pretty darn stable. He has been all over with it, with no problems. Maintenance Monday

Long Maintenance Monday yesterday getting the 4Runner taken care of for some traveling for the holiday season, and hopefully some good dirt time!
Just under 60,000 miles, I took care of the following:

• Engine oil/filter -- OEM 0w20
• Air filter -- OEM
• Cabin filter -- Lexus carbon infused filter (PN 87139-YZZ10)
• Wiper blades -- OEM rubber
• Transfer case fluid -- OEM 75w
• Front and rear axle fluid -- Redline 75w85

Feels good to get things done! To top it off, I got out and took some night shots of the 4Runner's [MENTION=87816]Baja Designs[/MENTION] S2 Pro side/rear lights... Because I didn't have any and I need some for an upcoming lighting review! More on that later...
