Hey! Glad that you have been able to use some of the information in the thread! The sliders are damn near bulletproof and almost 3 years later, I have zero regrets! Now, get out and beat em up! :thumb3:

Thanks for the write up on the AT3 XLTs. I'm glad to hear they handle snow well. I went with the AT3 LT and didn't realize that they don't have the mountain snowflake rating, instead they are "M+S" mud and snow rated. I've been a little worried that they won't handle snow as well, but since I don't get into snow very often I think I'll be just fine.

They were really confidence in the snow. Now on ice, I think that they'll perform similar to any other non-winter specific AT tires. But packed snow and mixed snow / wet roads they were really great. The AT3 4S tires are severe rated with additional siping in the treads, but both the XLTs and the LTs will perform really well in the snow.

The XLT's don't have the snowflake rating either. Only the 4S versions have the snow flake rating. I'm willing to bet the LT in C-rated would perform better in the snow/ice. I live in the mountains of Utah and the XLT's have performed well on snow/ice. You'll be fine, just don't speed and drive like an a-hole and you'll be okay.

As of now, I am not planning on producing these platforms personally. I am looking at producing a guide or template for the platform at some point. But I need to work through some details first.

I have spent about three hours looking through threads to help with my planned Goose Gear alternative today, and your platform is really close to what I want to build. If you're no longer planning on production, would you mind sharing a few details? The things I'm curious to know as I'm getting started are:

1. What thickness did you end up with (from the finished top surface to the bottom of the support that touches the floor pan)?
2. Was that thickness consistent throughout?
3. Do you have any trick to identifying the exact locations of the threaded bolts underneath the floor pan that are concealed in the non-cargo slider models?

I really appreciate any help. I did your lift gate light with hand-hole switch mod, and it's one of my most practical. Thanks!!

Just as an update, I contacted Cooper about the 3PMSF (snowflake) rating for the XLT range. As of now, 7 of the sizes have been snowflake rated, and the remaining sizes will be updated (including the 285) soon. There have been no changes to the tire to achieve the rating, so the current tires that are being sold are the same that will be sold with the 3PMSF rating later on. Long story short, they are snowflake rated...

But I agree, don't be an a-hole :thumb3:
