Bull Bar Brand

How long have you had your bull bar? I know the steelcraft use to be the best one to get because it mounted in four places, not two like most others.

I've had it for about 4 months now. I bought it from Autoanything.com

well steelcraft comes with four mounting points, you got screwed at some point if yours only came with the bottom two

Definitely must have gotten screwed then. My bar doesnt even have mounting points pre drilled to even accomodate any upper brackets.

I'm thinking they've been redesigned with two mounting points so that they'll fit the 06-09 models.

Yikes...that wouldn't work. The 4 point support for that heavy of a bar is needed.

ark may be correct, i pulled the instructions off steelcrafts site & the 2 top mounts seem to have been eliminated. if so its too bad since that was a big selling point to some. http://www.steelcraftautomotive.com...0installation_instructions675instructions.pdf

Well I'll be darned...they redesigned it.

I decided to take another crack at the brackets on my Steelcraft and figured out that if I drill a hole 1-inch back from the front hole of the top brackets. then that pushes the top bracket fwd an inch and wa-laa...the bull bar mounts fine. Problem solved.
