Bull bar, short bar, or nothing

Here is my truck below:
I'm raising the truck 2.5", Pro comp black wheels. color match grill. tint. However, I'm contemplating on the direction for the lights.

Black bull bar. Thinking of the direction of a 12" led bar.
Short bar. 4 lights.
Nothing.

Look through gaterose's build thread... he had the Defiant light bar and now has an LED bar mounted directly to the front bumper. Both were good-looking setups. The new LED light bars are pretty impressive!

Thats where I got the idea. I don't know of just mounting to the bumper.

the only problem with mounting LED to the front bumper is that you wouldn't have an easy (to no) access to your hood latch.

Why would I install the bar and leave no way to open the hood?

I can slide my hand under the bar and easily hit the secondary release. It's only slightly less convenient than if the bar wasn't there.

edit -I voted for the Defiant bar, but obviously I also like the LED bar mounted to the bumper :

How would an led strip look on a defiant bar?

Hard to say... I personally don't think it would look great but I wasn't able to find any pics where anyone had done that (on any vehicle) to say for sure either way.

I'm not a big fan of the bull bars or light bars. Makes the front end look too cluttered to me. I would definitely go with the leds mounted to the bumper.
