Depends how hard your going to use them realistically. You can powdercoat if you want a durable finish and don't plan on beating them up. Otherwise, offroading pretty much any finish scuffs/chips/flakes off.
At that point, I would just paint them myself, so you can touch them up as needed. Plus it's cheapest, I used the Rustoleam hammered black finish stuff. It's actually been pretty good for me. Whenever it chips, paint can's are $5 and you just wipe it down with rubbing alcohol, and spray it again.
