Okay so I haven't posted in a long time so here goes. I recently got my first job (Yippy!) and I found out that on our free time we can weld and use a plasma cutter (sweet designs to come) but I want to make a front bumper with the help from the other guys but I need ideas, designs, measurements and other such. Thanks for the input everyone!!!!

Start with removing your front bumper. I have heard you need to cap the frame, and start off of there. I haven't done a bumper yet but I will. Once you have your frame capped and something to mount off you can start to design.

Nice! You need to figure out what you want/need out of the bumper. Do you need a winch mount? Recovery points? Light mounts? Type of lights? Number of lights? Turn signals and turn siganl mounts. What style? Plate or tube? Skid plate? What type are you planning for the rear bumper.... Imo....both bumpers should match in style.

Ready to build it yet? Lol. I am ready to build my front bumper but have been struggling with all those questions for at least 2weeks. The biggest for me, is the type of lights I want because of where I drive. Meantime I am driving around with no front bumper. Lol. I have looked at a ton of bumper builds and bumpers offer by places like CBI, Outdoor, etc., etc. I have even looked at tacomas. I thought I had a desigh in my head then I saw a design for a tube bumper for a ford stupidduty. I thought maybe I could copy/modifiy the design to fit my runner. Now it's back to the drawing board. Lol

See I love the style of a solid plate bumper but it may be too difficult... Also I'd probably model it somewhat like outdoor logics but I haven't decided... Haha
