Bumper Cover 2003,4 - 5

Doesn anyone know if the bumper covers are the same on the 2003,4 to 2005?

I have the limited, but prefer the Silver insert as on the Sport model. Is this a straight swap out between the models? I've only been able to find the 2004 silver insert to date.

I believe you can just swap out the center pieces. Correct me if I'm wrong.....

The center silver piece is seperate and fits onto the bumper and if you don't have it you don't have anything to swap.

BTW if anyone wants to sell that silver ceter piece I would be interested.

Also the rear bumper is just painted silver in the middle and is not a seperate piece I believe.

The silver part of the rear bumper is separate from the rest of the bumper. I just replaced mine, the piece consists of the silver part and the top "deck" that is grey plastic.

It actually looks like the front bumpers are different between the Sport and the Limited according to this:

I wonder what a rear BLACK cover would look like on my silver 05??? Anyone have a pic of that???? I want to get as much black trim on my silver as possible.

Ok, so I ordered this piece (#1) from the 2003/4 Sport model and it is all plastic... I thought the center was meant to be silver?

I've been wanting to get the 2005 models' all black rear bumper cover to replace my 03's silver one. I think the all black look looks good on black 4runners. The only problem is I can't find a place to buy it. I tried partznet but their catalog only has 2003-04 4runner parts listed.

Does anyone know how to change the rear center bumper cover on an '03 4Runner without taking the entire (sides) off as well?
