Bumper Ideas

I need your guys help. I live up in Vail, Colorado and have a friend who works for Beaver Creek and does lift maintance. He has access to the back roads going up through Beaver Creek. The resort isnt open yet so we drove back up in there to play with my 4WD and rear locker. Lots of fun and the 4runner did great. Snow machine people in dully's with chains were getting stuck on the road and I drove right by them.

Long story short I was up in there messing around tonight and we decided to plow down this one hill through like 2 feet of powder. I messed my cheap plastic front bumper up. Time to buy a new one!

I can pick up another OEM one or get an aftermarket one. I need some suggestions. I hate the look of the ARB ones with the bars going up the front.

I loved when I was in the jeep scene the bumpers my friends had

or this with a tiny bar (doesn't have to have the winch hole)

Does anyone know were I can find some bumpers like this?

I was just looking over your thread and saw shockworks mentioned. If I got one without the hoops from them that would be perfect and I absolutely love yours minus the hoops. I wonder if there is anyone in Colorado that could fab something like that for me....

Shrockworks bumpers are awesome...They are strong and weigh only 98 lbs. w/o the hoops...I have been to their business and the product they put out (in my opinion) can't be beat....

TJ- you have a few choices in Colorado. Two that come to mind are Armorology and Addicted off-road. Addicted seems to do mostly tube but Scotty's fab work looks incredible and he could probably make a plate bumper. Armorology also makes very nice stuff do a search for user GlenYoshida on here and look at his front bumper. CBI offroad is not that far either and I have seen some of their work on Taco front bumpers and of course their 3rd gen back bumper.
