bumper lights

alright this is for those who have clear corner and bumper lights. what kind of bulbs do you use? clear or orange? i wanted the sylvania clear ones that blink orange but they dont make the right bulb# ahhh.

I just use the orange ones that came with the bumper lenses now. The reflection of orange isn't that bad.

I might be getting some "chrome" ones for my birthday though just to eliminate any orange reflection.

Jason Burtman sells a pair of "chrome" bulbs for $15 I believe.

yeah i saw those but 15 bucks! ha. so you have the clear bumper lenses now without the orange cap and the white bulb?

I have clear lenses with an orange bulb inside(came with them). The reflection of orange when not blinking isn't that bad, only noticable in direct sunlight mostly.

$15 is auctually a really good price. I've seen them go for over $20 a pieces.

No problem! Are you going to get clear corners?

I should have been more specific. All that information above was aimed just at the bumper lenses. My clear corners also have an orange bulb in them, but it is not noticable at all.

lol. yeah well today i was wheelin and ran into an object and broke my driver bumper light so i was like whatever ill just get clear corner and bumper lights i guess so there on there way. ha

With mine I bought clear corners that came with orange bulbs but I hated the way it looked next to the white headlights. I run sylvania superstar ultras as well so they are brighter than stock and it just makes it look worse. So I went down to Kragen and found some euro style bulbs in the tuner car section for the corners next to the headlights. The bulbs themselves are actually blue but they burn white and almost perfectly match the white color of the headlights. I think those two bulbs cost me around 3 or 4 bucks.
Then I also bought clear turn signal covers for the front and those also came with orange lights. However, living in California, they require you to have orange or red color for turn signals. So currently I'm just running clear lenses with orange bulbs behind them. Doesn't really look bad at all. However, I've seen the sylvania amber lenses that are grey coated or whatever(the same ones you were talking about that were $15) and I want to get some of those too. Just haven't got around to it. I think Kragen has them for like $9 a pair.
