Bumper Scratch

Hey Guys

My wife recently had the back of her 4 runner keyed - they scratched the rear bumper also.

Thanks to a forum member jbmccul - I was able to fix up most of the tail gate with Quixx - however I am wondering about bumper - it says in the instructions not to use it on dyed plastics.

So I am wondering if anyone knows if the bumpers are dyed plastics or are they painted?

Any info on this would be appreciated or what I can use to get the scratch out of the bumper?

Painted. The "black" color that the unpainted bumper cover is originally is dyed. I would be concerned about the hard plastic interior pieces that are dyed more than the bumper cover.
