do you by chance have a picture of an imperial jade mica spoiler? id like to buy a prepainted one, but my car is a respray and i worry that it wont match and it will drive me nuts. compared to the other imperial jade micas ive seen passing me on the freeway, it looks like the person that painted my car put a touch more flake in it. although i havent actually walked up to a factory IJM car to confirm.

It will match as long as they used the same color code, and will probably match even better since it was just done. Also, the spoiler is up on the roof and high up

thank you. without knowing the previous owner (bought from a used car dealer), it will be impossible to tell. if i buy one pre-painted and it doesnt match, you are not willing to take returns because of the paint work, correct?

It would be super rare to not re-paint the car in the same color code as the vin #. Look in the door jams, if it's same color as outside, then the color code was most likely the same. 99% of painters DO NOT paint the door jams inside the car. When opening the doors, are the door jams inside same color as the outside?

Also, you can bring your truck to any high end body shop and they can tell you, as they have a special suction cup digital scanner that will scan the paint and tell you the exact code

Lastly, if you still aren't sure what color your car was re-painted in, you can order unpainted and have a local shop match it.

okay good to know. thank you. i have to get some mechanical stuff out of the way first but as soon as thats all out of the way i will buy your spoiler and the LED tails (which i have also been eyeing for a while). big fan of roof lips/spoilers and LED lights, even on rigs that didnt come with em.

You will, yes... Now I did have a few guys mount with the 3M high strength double sided tape. Never hard back from them, so I assume it never fell off

can you post the instructions for this? drilling extra holes may be a deal breaker for me when there are already 6 on the tailgate. i was under the assumption this didnt require drilling due to the verbiage on your site:

can you send me the install instructions for this? im the one who wrote you and you said it was bolt on, despite needing to drill 6 holes. i never heard back from you.
im trying to decide if i want to pull the trigger on this thing, but id like to see the instructions prior to buying.

thank you. do you have any pictures of the holes actually being drilled? im worried about water getting into the rear hatch with introducing 6 more holes..

I used 3m automotive grade double sided adhesive tape and have had no issues for about two years so far.
