Bushwacker Fender Flares

Whats up everyone,
Since I'm local to Bushwackers headquarters I've been stopping in about every 5-6 weeks pushing for them to offer some for our 4th Gens.

I've been getting about 50/50 response from them with some people looking at my truck and saying that they'll most likely be in touch where the others just say, "nope, no interest right now."

I'm wondering if I show them interest from others they may be motivated to push this into production.

Is there anyone here that would be interested in these?

I would definitely buy some if they were the cut-out (so you can trim the heck out of your fenders for bigger tires and cover it up cleanly) or at least pocket-style flares. I actually looked for these and other models that might be compatible with the 4R when I first bought it.

I think the standard flares might not look that great since since the 4runner already kinda has fender flares.

I'm talking about this style -

yea i agree. Saw some on a jeep yesterday, they were body color matched and kinda tapered off into a point on the front, very professional and mean looking. Not sure what company, cuz i spent at least an hour trying to find them and couldn't... But something paintable to match the body, that'd be prime. This is what i'm talking about.

I'm going to try and explore all options with them.

I love the ones like the Silverado has just because it would be so easy to have them look really clean as you said gaterose since the 4R already pretty much as the flares.

But if they have some that could go along with my front bumper that would also be nice. I really hope the fact that I have an aftermarket bumper on doesn't scare them from using my rig... :cry2:

I never said it wasn't lifted, but it also has a ton more space under it than other silverado's with 6" lift and 35s, he could probably run 37 or 38s with a different or cut front bumper. I only mentioned it because when those came out they advertised that the silverado could clear 35s with them and the intention of the cut-out fender flares was to cover up fender trimming.

Doug, I would think the bumper wouldn't be a problem if you're inquiring about the cut-out style flares because most people will to chop their sheet metal are running a bumper or are likely to run a bumper. You can see how the flare dips back in and gets thinner near the bumper on silverado so it won't look awkward with a different bumper.

Just left Bushwackers and this trip might have pushed them to make fenders for us! The guys there looked at my rig, took pictures and talked a bit with me about the process.

One thing they did mention is they feed off Facebook comments so if you can keep the comments coming that will only help us!
