Buster Posey

I agree with others sentiments. If they had given it away to someone who was terminally ill, a war vet, sure, without a doubt. A team sports "star", screw that, they hold no meaning to me, personally.

I would even be more than super pissed if I were a Dodgers fan.:suspicious:

I'm really surprised by the amount of people that don't know who Buster Posey is. 3 time World Series champ, 2 time All Star, 2010 NL Rookie of the Year, and 2012 NL MVP!

).

Not fan of any "ball" sport. But if it wasn't for those sports there would be a lot more thugs on the street or prison..

Hey OP, Buster rocks and now you can brag that he's driving around in your truck! I like how some people pretend they don't have a price themselves...

Check out his Twitter. Looks like he was shooting a Toyota commercial so you will probably get to see your ride doing some cool stuff. Also if that's true it was probably marketing that stepped in and nabbed it for the shoot.

I was told it was possibly for a commercial. I got a signed jersey and a personal note from him thanking me for it.

sounds like a memory that, years from now, will mean more than a few weeks earlier delivery...i think it's cool

I tend to agree. I'd be pissed to have to give up my ride for an autograph of someone who is virtually unknown outside the Bay Area.
He was voted "the face of baseball". Not exactly unknown. I wouldn't be happy, but Posey seems to be a good guy, unlike many of today's sports stars.

Yeah but if it were Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, or James May it would be a different story :D

That means a bit more actually getting a note written to you, it will certainly lend more value to the story behind the signed jersey.

Being a Giant's fan for many yrs , I find it mildly insulting . Certainly not his style for sure ! Only people who don't follow baseball wouldn't know of him , Fla St All-American very quiet team player great for the sport with all the current BS going on .

I'm curious to see the ad.. I remember watching the old Toyota commercials with Steve Young and would laugh my butt off. I'm pretty sure he had a number in both Tacomas and 4Runners. The mud bath and spooky camping noises ones come to mind. In case anyone doesn't know, Steve Young was the 49ers quarterback in the 90s.

My son showing off his new Posey Cactus League shirt I picked up last week while in Scottsdale for Spring Training.
