Button that makes ac blow harder always on when i start vehicle and turn on A/C

Im sorry for the confusing title but the button that stops new air from coming in and makes the ac blow harder is always on when i start my vehicle and turn on the A/C even when i turn off the button the last time i used the A/C . Does anyone know why this is?

I'm pretty sure the recycle button is "on" by default for certain settings, if you chose the defrost setting it will automatically "turn off" or, in other words, open the outside vents.

Ok so it is on default for the regular ac blowing.

I always use my A/C in AUTO mode and have it set @ 66 deg so when I start the car (or initially turn ON the A/C) it will go into "recycle air" mode and in HI (fan) until it reaches my desired setting. Great feature especially when I was in the tropics.

66? thats cold brrrr. even on whidbey island you run it at 66?
i run mine around 73-75 usually. i hardly use the auto feature though. i forget about it.

i was wondering the same thing too. it never did that before, maybe because it was winter weather and had different settings. thanks.

that recycle button when activated makes air blown from deflectors much warmer and a lot more noisier not sure why its on by default, I turn it off every time and its pisses me off

66? thats cold brrrr. even on whidbey island you run it at 66?

....Then when my boss gets in the car, she'll adjust it to 70 deg and lowers the music volume considerably.

I wonder if that "auto on" recirculate can be disabled using the toyota laptop at the dealer?

I've seen they have tougbooks connected the the cars and trucks when in for service that have a million things you can turn on and off.
