Buying '08 next week: SR5 vs. Sport. Is this a good price?

Okay, ready to buy an '08 4x4 V8. Lots to choose from.

I've been quoted $28,500 for a grey 4x4 V8 sport- no options
Another dealer has a silver one for $28,304

Those prices are minus tax/title/tags, but does include rebate, destination, setup, etc.

I can also get an SR5 for $26,953.

Those are internet prices before any further negotiation.

Also, what does the sport really get you? I see different seats, XREAS shocks, tubular roof rack and running boards. Are the brakes really bigger on the sport? Is it worth it?

Is the spoiler on the sport model removable? I don't really like it.

I'm sure the spoiler is removal, but your making a mistake. They look really lame w/out the spoiler..

Definitely get the Sport Edition over the SR5. Not saying the SR5 is bad, but the SE adds color keyed mirrors over black textured, telescopic steering wheel, leather steering wheel, audio controls on the steering wheel and it's certain the brakes are bigger on the SE.

If you remove the spoiler there will be holes that will need to be filled and you will lose the third brake lamp.

Now the question is:

grey w/ no options (my favorite color)
silver w/ no options
silver w/ sunroof and JBL 6CD changer +$1000
silver w/o sunroof, but with nav +$2000

I'd really like the sunroof- so it's really a matter of favorite color vs. ok color and sunroof.

Thats not to bad but is that out the door with or without rebates? I got mine for invoice which is $32,775 - $2500 rebate -$275.00 refferal bonus = $30,000 before taxes

31600 was before tax and tile, total I paid was around 34 something. I got it from the General Manager of Toyota Dealership the guy I knew. I think I paid 1600 too much.

He could, but that means he would be getting silver and not the gray (Galactic probably) that he really likes. But he could also get the exclusive pearl white.
