My son-in-law and daughter live in Japan just outside of Tokyo. He is in the Navy. They are returning this summer and he wanted a 4runner or Taco. I had a 3rd gen and loved it now I own a 4th but still wish I had my 3rd.
I started looking for one for him and ran across a 2002 Sport. It was local on CL. the owner bought it with 40,000 and it now has 180,000. No accidents. He has all receipts and everything works. Good frame, relatively new tires, and original radiator which will get replaced immediately. (I'm always leary when looking at one when they say "brand new radiator")
It has 1 dime size rust bubble on the driver side rocker panel right behind the front wheel. (running boards need removed but that's his call)
Anyway I picked it up $4500. I think I did ok. :becky: I hope he likes it and has no issues with it.
