I have searched with no luck, but terms I have used might not be ideal...
I turn the key to accessory mode to start my 99 limited, and get a electrical motor sounding ZZZZZ, lasts about 1 second or less. At first I thought it was the stupid electric antenna, but that is gone with the taco mod and I still get the noise.
It sounds like it is coming from in front of me in the driver's seat, so I don't think it is the fuel pump. Always seems to start fine, just the noise annoys me.
Any ideas on things to look at? I haven't brought my wife in yet to turn the key with my head in the engine bay, but I will start there in the next day or two.
This hasn't been a huge priority but it would be nice to know I am not having a bigger issue.
