Buzzing in Head unit

Ive installed a new head unit recently, and there was a buzzing in the speakers that correlates with the engine RPM's, So my first guess was a ground issue. So i wired an entire new ground to the headunit grounding out at the frame. Its still buzzing.

Im confused as to what it could be?

You need a ground loop isolator - radio shack used to stock them - most stereo places will carry them.

Do you have a amp installed also? If the gain is turned up to high you will hear all sorts of cool sounds.

you can hear weird stuff when your standing on your limited slip diff? never knew that! haha

Where would I install it?? Another thing is the sound is only when the engine is on, when the acc is on its not a problem.

It could also be alternator whine. But honestly I have no idea how to fix it. Mine has been doing it since I bought it as well

Forget the loop isilator for now.

That will only mask a poorly installed stereo setup.

You need** to run new 12g-14g power positive and negative thought the firewall and to the aftermarket head unit. That will solve the ground noise. You have a bad ground.
